Designed for cable sheath protection in cross-bonding systems. It effectively reduces induced sheath currents and minimizes power losses, ensuring reliable operation for 10kV to 110kV electrical networks.

Overview & Environmental Conditions

Scope of Use: Suitable for cable sheath protection grounding boxes, direct grounding boxes, cross-bonding boxes, and sheath insulation monitoring boxes. These units are designed as three-phase common bodies (please specify if single-phase is required).

Installation Process

  1. Strip the insulation layer of the cable to make the exposed conductors the same length as the length of the terminal hole.
  2. Clean the objects inside the box.
  3. Remove the terminal blocks inside the box, press the cut grounding cable and the terminal block together, insert the terminal block into the inlet of the box, and fix it with screws.
  4. After fixing the first cable, insert the second cable, repeat the operation until all grounding cables are fixed.
  5. Fill rubber strips between the outlet pipe and the grounding place, fix the cable in the middle of the outlet pipe.
  6. Seal the outlet pipe with waterproof tape.
  7. Apply Heat-shrink tubing on the outlet pipe.
  8. Seal the two ends of the heat-shrink tubing with rubber insulation tape.
  9. Cover PVC tape on the waterproof tape, half-cover with two layers.
  10. Clean the objects inside the box again to ensure no debris remains.
  11. Install the sealing gasket and the box cover. Important: Do not tighten screws all at once. Tighten in three rounds to prevent box cover deformation.

Selection Models

Standard thickness: 1.5mm. All include Heat shrinkable tape and waterproof composite tape.
